Some odd girl digi challenge #5

Cutting this one a bit fine, but I got it done.
This card is for a challenge over at Some Odd Girl
The challenge is to use your stash: spots, stripes and a big title.
I used Fairy Fly Away Mae, coloured her with watercolour pencils and a little glitter glue - what's a fairy without some bling?
I think these images are very cute, with their big hands and big feet - just so sweet.

Challenge 2 @ Kenny K

This is my submission for the Kenny K challenge this week. I quite liked working with pastels last week, so decided to do this one is pastels, too. This is one of my favourite images.
Of course, I had to add just a little bling - glitter glue to the boots.

Kenny K Pastel Challenge

I'm absolutely loving the Kenny K images.
Their challenge for this week is to use one of their images, but use pastel colours. At first this seemed like quite a challenge - PASTELS? But they need to bright bold colours. Until I started, and discovered that they look just as good in pastels. I used very girly colours and, of course, bling!! I used pastel coloured patterned card in the background, white pearls along the cut-out border and on the scalloped oval I used pink pearls. Glitter on the shoes and accessories. The result is soft and feminine. I love how this one came out. I think I'll be doing more of these...

Some excitement and more cards on their way

I'm now quite excited. I took a few of my cards to my son's nursery school to show some people there. They loved them! They want me to sell them there, and one of my friends has offered to take some into work to sell there. It makes me feel really good. I just don't know how much to charge...

I'm having so much fun!!

I've been spending my evening lately colouring images and loving it. I use watercolour pencils and blend them with spirits. I bought some new Kenny K digi images and I'm making some funky cards with those - aimed at teens. I'm also loving Sarah Kay's images. And of course I love my own range I designed.
So here's just a few cards I've made - and I'm busy with more - I'll be handing them over to a shop this coming week to sell there.
